Shipping Costs & Delivery

Shipping costs for your order are non-refundable and are based on the weight of the items ordered and your location. The estimated delivery date may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the quantity of items ordered. Your order may also arrive in separate shipments. Additional shipping charges may apply depending on your location and order size.

You are responsible for all applicable taxes related to the delivery of your order, including sales tax and value-added tax (VAT).

If your order arrives damaged, you must notify us within 5 days of receipt – see below for further details.

 

Order Processing & Availability

Once your order is received, Astrea London may charge your credit/debit card to check stock availability and reserve your stone. Goods are subject to availability. While we make every effort to fulfil your order as requested, in rare cases, the item you have selected may no longer be available. In such an instance, our Diamond Consultant will source and offer the closest matching alternative.

If you do not wish to proceed with the alternative, your reservation payment will be converted into company credit for future use. Astrea London is not liable for unfulfilled orders if payment delays occur. If a reservation is made but full payment is not completed, or if an order is cancelled before shipping, an administrative fee may apply.

 

Pricing & Payment

The price you pay is the price displayed on our website or quoted via phone or email, including delivery costs and VAT (if applicable), at the time of your order. While we strive for accuracy, errors in pricing may occur. If a pricing error is identified, we will inform you as soon as possible. You will have the option to proceed at the correct price or exchange your order for another item.

Goods remain the property of Astrea London until fully paid for. If you receive goods that have not been paid for in full, you must return them immediately upon request. In such cases, Astrea London will cover return shipping costs but may charge interest penalties from the date of receipt.

 

Importer of Record

For international orders, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all local laws and regulations. Import duties, taxes, and other charges are the recipient’s responsibility and may be collected before delivery.

 

Value Added Tax (VAT)

VAT applies to all applicable orders. If you choose to have your diamonds securely stored, VAT will be due if you later decide to take delivery. Our UK VAT registration number is 453845864.

 

Delivery Insurance

We ship exclusively via professional, reputable carriers. All shipments are fully insured for your protection. A signature will be required upon delivery.

For orders exceeding EUR 5,000 (or equivalent in other currencies), identification verification and address confirmation (matching a utility bill) will be required before dispatch. Once the order is accepted by the recipient, all risk, including loss or theft, transfers to the customer.

 

Alternate Shipping Addresses

We can ship to an address other than your billing address. However, for security reasons, you must personally sign for the package and provide valid identification upon receipt.

 

Returns & Exchanges

We hope that you are delighted with your Astrea London jewellery. If for any reason, you decide not to keep your online purchase, we are happy to offer you free returns or exchanges if the item in unworn and the item tag remains intact. Returns or exchanges must be requested within 14 days of delivery.

Prior to sending back any item(s) please email orders@astrealondon.com quoting your original order number to let us know that you wish to return your order.

Refunds will be issued to the original form of tender and processed within 14 days of return. Merchandise will be available for refund or exchange providing it is returned in the same condition as when purchased and if accompanied by the original sales receipt. Delivery costs will not be refunded.

This returns policy applies only to items purchased directly through www.astrealondon.com. Please not that we only offer exchanges and no refunds for item(s) purchased within one of our boutiques.

 

Orders to France, Monaco & Italy

Due to post-Brexit regulations, a customs broker is required to clear jewellery shipments into France, Monaco, and Italy. To ensure a seamless experience, the Astrea team will manage the process on your behalf — including appointing a trusted broker and handling all necessary customs documentation.

The following fees cover the cost of brokerage and customs clearance and will be automatically added at checkout:

Shipments to France & Monaco: £450
Shipments to Italy: £350

All deliveries are fully tracked and typically arrive within 2–7 working days.

Important Notes:

  • Astrea London is not responsible for return shipment loss or damage, so we advise retaining proof of postage.
  • If a diamond has been tampered with or altered by you or a third party, it will no longer be eligible for exchange.
  • Company credit cannot be converted into cash and must be used for future purchases.
